This is the white post of White Post, VA. It is related to surveying work done by Gen. George Washington and may be the northwest corner of the land he surveyed.

November 11, 2007 - the day I picked up Maizie after the restoration. This gentleman is John "Pen" Grove, the restorer at White Post Restorations, White Post, VA who did most of the restoration work.
First stage of reassembly - the body has been cleaned and is being primed with two differing coats (red and grey).

November 11, 2007 - the day I picked up Maizie after the restoration. The location is the east bank of the Shenandoah River in Virgina. Behind the car is a low water bridge on Morgan Ford Road.
